The Ibeyi holds the role of the Orisha presiding over divine twins. Despite the fact that twins are two distinct individuals at birth, the Ibeji are considered a singular Orisha. Emerging from the lineage of Oshun, the Ibeyi exhibit a demeanor marked by playfulness, mischief, and curiosity. Symbolically, they embody the hues of red and blue, and venture into the territories from which their mother originates. This series was included in René Revolorio's body of work, entitled
